Lazy old Teddy Bo

Now lazy old Teddy Bo is lying back to smell the flowers, nice to do every so often.
This card is for the following challenges:
Of course the image is a TeddyBo, coloured with promarkers and copics. The papers are My minds eye not sure what they're called but I love the colours. Buttons and ribbons from my stash. So to count towards the Moving along with the times challenge - 2 B's it has buttons, brown with brazzil bling cardstock and a bear so more than 2 B's.

Here comes the Bride.....

I've made a wedding card nothing to do with the Royal wedding but just because I wanted to and it fits several challenges I wanted to entered as well so that's a bonus.

I've made an 8" x 8" card, using paper from Basic Grey which I've distressed with distress inks and glimmer mists and then sanded the edges, over the top, added a vellum from papermania which I've also distressed with inks and glimmer mist. The image is from TeddyBo which is in sepia and I've lightly coloured washed with aquamarkers and distress inks, I've also added a little bit of glaze pen to the windscreen.
The tags are a big shot die, the flowers are made from a nestie die, which I've distress with inks and glimmer mists and then cut and rolled into a rose shape, to fix and add a little extra glitter I've sprayed with glitter spray from crafters companion.
It's for the following challenges:

Well, enjoy your long Easter break, think of me who will be working! (I've got Sunday off so it's not all bad)

Another 70th Birthday card

This is a card I've made for a friend to give one of her hairdressing customers for her 70th birthday. She wanted it girly so it fits in great with 3 different challenges as well.

Digital Tuesday - All things Girly
A Spoon full of sugar - Spring is in the air
Papertake Weekly - Check this out

The image is a Digi image of Sarah Kay which I found via this clever lady's blog - Free digital stamps she must spend hours looking for all this free stuff which is great cos it means I've got more time to craft with lots more pretty stuff all for nothing, which is my favourite price! The papers I can't remember the name of but have been buried in my stash for ages so needed to be used. I cut the flowers with a sizzix die and used my labels nestie to make the mat and layer for the image. I've coloured with copics, isn't it nice to use such bright sunny colours when the weathers foul outside.

Love is in the air!!!!

Valentines day is coming so I've made another card which could be used for this special day or just for someone specials birthday. I've used a digi image from Mo's digital pencil with some papers from a free digi kit from Pink Petticoat 'Think Pink' I've distressed and crumpled the heart shapes which I freehand cut for the pink petticoat papers also I went around the edges with a doodle just for a bit of extra interest. The sentiment is a freebie I found on the net via a blog sorry I can't remember where but It's so cute to go with the cupcake fairy.
I'm going to entry these into 2 challenges A spoon full of sugar - sketch & Papertake weekly - Love actually (one of my fav films, also makes my cry at the end!)
Hope you're having a great weekend mine's been a bit up and down but OK. Looking forward to a weeks holiday soon. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. X x x

I'm back to normal, well normalish??!!

Now New Years's isn't my fav thing but now I'm feeling better head cold gone sort of and I've actually spent some time in my craftroom after nearly 2 whole weeks! My daughter's gone back to Notts (Boo Hoo!) and my Husband is back to work, so I've had the house to myself today. I waited in for a parcel this morning, but the courier played knock and run and was gone before I'd even heard the door, I was not happy cos they can't/won't deliver on a Saturday and won't leave it with any of my neighbours! I was so cross on the phone to place where I'd ordered the goods from so unhelpful and as for the couriers it would be nice if you could actually talk to a person not a bloody machine!!!! Ok enough of the courier rage on to my challenges!

I've managed to make this card fit 5 challenges, check me out? So great to get the springtime colours out and cheer up a cold winters day.

Lots of challenges in one post.

I haven't used a Magnolia stamp in ages so I thought I'd combined these two challenges to use this lovely stamp. The sketch is this weeks Just Magnolia challenge and A spoon full of sugar asks you to use Non traditional Christmas colours (No red or Green) I've used Basic grey Eskimo kisses papers with some glitter and mirror card and die cut some snowflakes. The sentiment is from a popcorn bear set but fits and makes the image more christmassy.

The next project is for Totally Gorguss challenge which is 'Not a card' so having gone a done a little Christmas shopping this morning I bagged some bargins to change into yummy pressie for friends and family. So out of this lot below I'm going to make something that looks like I've spent a fortune when I haven't! ( I hope, well that's the plan anyway?)

I bought some cheap as chips Diaries from Asda and have covered them with some pretty shimmery paper and added a Gorguss image and some beads, ribbon and a charm. Hope they all like their pressies come Christmas day?

Now last but not least one for Saturday challenge over at Secret crafter, this weeks it's Christmas trees, the tree image is a digi one from All that scraps coloured copics and the Santa is from Whiff of Joy. The papers are from Doodlebug with some added mirror cardstock and a bit of glitter just because!

Another couple of challenges before I go out!

I've been a good girl this morning and done my chores (well sort of ish!) So I've been crafting since my return home and made this little beauty! A spoon full of sugar challenge is a sketch from the talented Sonja and the Colour Create challenge is to use Blue, silver and white. So this screams Christmas card to me. I've used the new digi christmas stamps from All that scraps coloured with copics and sukara pens. The paper is from craftwork cards a set from last year or maybe the year before I'm not to sure. I used my cuttlebug embossed plate for the snowflake design on both silver mirror board and white cardstock. The snowflakes are cut with my big shot and a sizzlet die set.

Summer card on a dreary day!

I've had to drive to just outside Southampton this morning but managed to get back in good time to fit in a bit of blogging and crafting. I'm glad when I set off this morning at 5am the weather was dry unlike now, I hate driving in the dark on roads I'm not used to, but driving in the dark and the wet is the worst!
So this spurred me on to brighten up my day with a sunny summer themed card! It's for 2 challenges 'A spoon full of sugar' which is the sketch used and 'Creative card crew' asked for a Baby or children's card and I think this fits the bill ok. The image is yet another beauty from Mo's Digital pencil coloured with copics. The papers are from my stash sorry can't remember what they're called. Buttons and ribbons again from my stash and yes a sinful peel off sticker but it fitted the bill just right!

A big Thank you for my new stamp

This card will be winging it's way to the ladies at A spoon full of sugar challenge to say thank you for sending my prize so quickly. Also it's for this weeks challenge too. I've used the cute Helz Cuppleditch stamp which I won, coloured with copics and some glitter pen. The paper is from My minds eye - wonderful winter glittered papers. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash.
So Thanks again to Debbie and Nikki at A spoon full of sugar for another great challenge and my lovely new stamp.

First ever Halloween card

This is for 4 challenges in one go, so here goes.
A spoon full of sugar #72 - Halloween
Papertake weekly #25 - The sketch
Creative card crew#31 - Celebration
DP2 #1 - Perple (Purple, pop to the site and all becomes clear!)

I got to use the great image from Mo's digital pencil called 'Punkin' which I've coloured with copics. On DP2 which is the brand new challenge blog from Mo herself, you had to use purple which is my very fav colour ever. Since a young child there has been some form of purple in my surroundings, at my last house at least 3 rooms had purple on the walls, even a dark purple in the hallway! I was made to cover that up when we wanted to sell the house and move, neutral all the way? Anyhoo back to the challenges, I didn't have any halloweeny papers so just went with a little bit of My minds eye orange paper. I cut the swirls with a big shot die then added some ribbon and gemstones to finish. The sentiment is stamped with an alphabet set I've had for ages and just inked around the edges.
Hope you like it, just had a bit of good news from a work collegue which as brighten up my day no end. So going to go and make some more cards and enjoy my day off.

Better make some Crimbo cards...

This is for a Spoon full of sugar challenge and this weeks it's Christmas! I downloaded this beautiful image from Mo's Digital pencil and coloured with copics. It's simply mounted on pearly cardstock. The ribbons are from my stash. I used a set of sizzlet big shot dies for the snowflakes and attached them with brads. I sprayed over the top of the image with some glimmer mist just to add a drop of bling.

A spoon full of sugar - sketch

I've flipped this one around a bit to suit my nesties and the papers which I'd found in my 12x12 stash. Not sure what they're called sorry. The flowers I've sprayed with a little glimmer mist just to brighten them up a bit. The image is a gorguss girl coloured with copics. Not quite sure where I was going with the colour scheme here but I think it kinda works?
My camera memory card is full up and I need to have a digital sort out tomorrow. I still don't have my own computer back as yet. ( Not sure what my neighbours done with mine?) Think I'll load the other photo's onto snapfish or something and cyberspace can look after them for me. Day off tomorrow so hopefully some time to chill out?

A spoon full of sugar challenge #63

Here's my take on the 'A spoon full of sugar' challenge floral fantasy.
I've used Ruby Tuesday, design-a-flower set from Graphicus, coloured with copics markers and sukura pens for some glimmer. I've used silicone glue to layer up the flowers and leaves and added a few ribbons.

Hope you like it?

A spoon full of sugar challenge 'Swirls'

Here's my take on the challenge 'Swirls'
I used a Peek-a-boo box from craftwork cards and sprayed it with Glimmer mists in Turquoise blue and Iridescent gold and Moon glow Glitz spritz in Desert moon endless sky, I used a glimmer mist stencil from fanciful stencils set to create the swirls.
Whilst that was drying i made the keyring using assorted beads and charms from my jewellery making stash and then punched out a scalloped circle of shrink plastic and stamped an image from 'Bubbly T for transparent' Penny black set. Making a hole with a hole punch first so I could thread a jump ring through afterwards.
Next I used my Big shot to die cut out some tags which I stamped with images from the same set and then coloured with watercolour pencils. Next I inked the edges of each tag and then attached the smaller two to the box with brads and the largest with a piece of ribbon to the lid.
I'm really pleased with this, which makes up for the peek-a-boo box i spoilt yesterday!
