All about little old me

43 years old, one wonderful daughter and husband. I love craft, card making, scrapbooking, jewellery making, altered art. I been crafting for about 8 years or so and moving house 6 years ago allowed me the space of my own craftroom. (Much to the annoyance of my husband!)

Something Girly

Here's something girly to enter into a couple of challenges, I've used Digital papers from
Nitwit Collections, this is Summer's End which is full of lovely autumn colours. The digi image is from Saturated Canary and I will be continuing my collection of these little beauties. The card is an 8"x8" which is becoming a bit of a favourite of mine at the moment but I must find some envelopes from somewhere so if you have any ideas please let me know.
The challenges are:
Well I'm off to spend some time in my craftroom for a couple hours before I have to go off to work, working til 9pm tonight which is a horrid shift but I have to look after my newbies at work and make sure that their Managers are making sure that they are not left all on their own during their first week.

Digital Tuesday Challenge

This card is for Digital Tuesday challenge - Little women. I've made a twisted easel card, DP's are from basic grey, digi images is from All that scraps - Hairdresser Honey, (my friend is a hairdresser so this will come in handy) coloured with promarkers and copics. The sentiment is one I've had for ages from craftwork cards. The buttons and ribbon are from my stash haul at stitch and craft @ Shepton Mallet. Have a good weekend, hopefully I'll get some time to craft this weekend?!

1 for 4 challenges

This is for 4 challenges
Quixotic - Make a splash
Digital tuesday - April flowers/April showers
Mojo Monday - Sketch
Anyone for Anya - Sweet as sugar

Lovely freebie digi scrapbooking papers, a digi image from All that scraps coloured with copics. Nesties die to cut the label shape and sizzix dies for the paper buttons and lots of ribbon. Also some stash my daughter bought me back from Hong Kong behind the rick rack ribbon in the centre is a line of pink masking tape. She bought me a pack of it in lots of different colours really unusual but great.

I'm having a nice peaceful day at home, the weathers lovely and sunny so may sit in the garden later on and read my book. Works a bit nutty at the moment so the peace and quiet is just what the doctor ordered today.

Another 70th Birthday card

This is a card I've made for a friend to give one of her hairdressing customers for her 70th birthday. She wanted it girly so it fits in great with 3 different challenges as well.

Digital Tuesday - All things Girly
A Spoon full of sugar - Spring is in the air
Papertake Weekly - Check this out

The image is a Digi image of Sarah Kay which I found via this clever lady's blog - Free digital stamps she must spend hours looking for all this free stuff which is great cos it means I've got more time to craft with lots more pretty stuff all for nothing, which is my favourite price! The papers I can't remember the name of but have been buried in my stash for ages so needed to be used. I cut the flowers with a sizzix die and used my labels nestie to make the mat and layer for the image. I've coloured with copics, isn't it nice to use such bright sunny colours when the weathers foul outside.
