It was a lovely sunny summer day yesterday so as I'm on holiday I made the most of it and went out to a local National Trust property Barrington Court it's only a few miles from where I live. My daughter has just been treated as a gift, to a year subscription to National Trust membership by her friend so we thought we'd make the most of it. It's glorious, the sun shining and a wonderful breeze blowing just enough to keep it comfortable from the heat of the day.We walked around the gardens and the kitchen garden made me very very jealous of all the yummy produce that they grow. The only sad thing is that the main part of the house is no longer furnished so you just have to imagine what it would have been to live in. Saying that though parts of it were a bit creepy for my liking, I think I'll stick to where I am thank you!
