What's on your workdesk Wednesday?

Good morning well Wednesday is upon us again and my workdesk is not very inspiring I'm afraid? I bought some alcohol inks a while ago and had a go yesterday at colouring a small tin bucket. Let me know what you think please, but be kind! I need to buy the mixative stuff as well and then have another go I think.

Anyway I have made some cards as well so here they are, I'm really pleased with these. I love the colours.

Have a good Wednesday.

  3. I think the colours are pretty, but I don't think alcohol inks come out as bright as you expect on metal. I love the cute bucket and your bottles and it's a very pretty card.

  6. Very pretty cards-sweet colors. I've never used alcohol inks on tin but I always thought they would be brighter. Maybe a pre-coating of a white paint? (gesso?)

  9. I've never thought of using alcohol inks on metal - I imagine it looks quite rustic? We learn by experimenting! Your cards are very cute.

  11. Never mind Peggy being a little late, I'm very late this week. Those buckets look so effective with the addition of the inks, and the cards are good too. Have a lovely week. xx Maggie #11
