All about little old me

43 years old, one wonderful daughter and husband. I love craft, card making, scrapbooking, jewellery making, altered art. I been crafting for about 8 years or so and moving house 6 years ago allowed me the space of my own craftroom. (Much to the annoyance of my husband!)

What's on your workdesk Wednesday?

This pile of crafty loveliness is all Tatty Teddy goodies which I will be able to play with next week when I have a long awaited weeks holiday. I bought this from create and craft on a pick of the week. It's a completely rubbish photo taken with no lights on and just the poor natural light, sorry!

And here's a couple of rosettes that I have been trying to make and struggling to big time. So lots of swearing later I managed to make the pink one and get the glue to hold after pinning it to the desk with a stamp block.

I'm all excited tonight as my daughter has flown in from Italy today and we go and pick her up from the station in about an hours time. I can't wait to see her and give her a big big hug. She's working in Italy, designing Knitwear for Maxmara and we are so proud of her. Hopefully I'll be able to show you one day what she has designed for them.

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.

  2. Have fun with your daughter! I have found that using a paperclip or a small clothespin helps to hold that glue fold together. Thanks for sharing!- Amanda #149

  4. Hope by now you've met up with your daughter and had lots of hugs. Love the rosettes - although I agree that they can be difficult to glue - I resorted last time to a big blob of silicone. I saw someone else's WOYWW earlier where they had successfully used a hot glue gun with rosettes (Hazel, WOYW #136) x
