Bracelets and Christmas! (Long Post !)

I was asked by one of my work friends to make some bracelets so she could give them as gifts at Christmas to her team, so I've had revive my Jewellery Mojo! And actually I've enjoyed every minute of it and ended up making more than I needed to fulfill the order and made something for myself or maybe a present for a friend? (If I can bear to part with it??!!) She also asked me to make some pyramid boxes to give the bracelets in. I got a bit carried away and made gift tags for each one as well. I now know I can't really charge what I should for it all cos' I've done more than that was asked of me?

I've also nearly finished the order I had from my friend Paula for gift cards. I made easel cards and tucked a pocket under the upright bit to pop the money in, cool even if I do say it myself!

Plus I made these the other day with the new digi images from 'All that scraps' so cute!

Silver wedding celebrations!

Firstly on a crafty note here's the card/word book I made for our friends Silver wedding anninversary at the weekend. We had a great day, the weather was awful but that didn't matter one bit as the inside of the Church looked really pretty all light with candles. Now for some of the pictures of the day. Sorry about the one in the Church but was trying to get a good shot around the professional photographer was tricky.

This is Gill and Rob the happy couple I've know these guys for nearly 20 years, so nice to share their day with them.
Next is myself and my friend Paula (who is Gill's daughter) and we have been friends for about 10 years or so.
Check me out pulling a stupid face

Then we had to do 'The inbetweeners' friends thumbs up, 40 somethings acting about 5 as usual!

This is myself and my Husband Dave, check us out in our posh clothes!

And lastly, this is Me and Dave with our very good friends Paula and Kev (who are husband and wife)
Now here is the one which will make you giggle (if you haven't already fallen alsleep?) Right at the end of the evening the stupid party song go on and The wurzel 'Blackbird' if you know anything about the west country this makes us look like the a real bunch of yokels! Well it was the boys after far too much drink who rolled their trouser legs up and undid their shirts!
Be warned if you come to Somerset!

Going to a wedding.

This is just a very quick post before I get ready to go to a silver wedding blessing this afternoon. Just discovered a hole in my best dress whilst ironing it and had to repair with wonderweb and just hope no one notices! Will put some piccies up tomorrow if I have any good one of me and my Husband and our friends day.
Anyway the card is for Papertake weekly challenge, the image is from All that Scraps bought in the Black Friday sale love digi bargains! Papers are My minds eye again with a charm and pearl brads to finish. The ribbon is a piece of christmas ribbon I've had for ages. Hope you like it. I'm off now to put make up on which is very rare for me and try and look presentable at least for a few hours until I've a had a couple of wines!!!!??? Hick!!!

Still making Christmas cards

I'm still doing orders for Christmas cards so I've combined them with a couple more challenges. This one is for Friday sketches and Creative card crew. I've made an easel card which I adore and find so easy to make. The image is Santa with his list from Whiff of Joy and I've used my favourite things (creative card crew challenge this week!) My minds eye papers wonderful winter, coloured with copics and ribbon and brads. The bells and brad I changed the colour of with a copic marker as they were silver and I needed gold. The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy a freebie with my new stamps.

Victoria's blog candy for an excellant cause

The lovely Victoria over at Blue Jelly too is offering some stunning candy but it's for an excellant cause so pop over and see what you need to do. It's all in aid of this Charity
Here's what winging it's way up to you Victoria hope it helps a little bit.

Gotta love Santa...

Now you just have to love Santa, this image is the last of my new stamps from Whiff of Joy finally coloured in a card made for two challenges. This weeks Colour create is Green, Red and White which screams Christmas card and Sketch and Stash the sketch of course and my new stamp. The papers are My minds eye wonderful winter glittered 12x12 pad with ribbons from my stash and the buttons are from a Doodlebug goodie box I've had for ages.

Now I'm going to do some chores and then a bit more crafting later on. I need to parcel up my cards to send to the lovely Victoria for her wonderful charity and Candy. So busy busy!!

New Christmas gnome.

I eventally got round to colouring in my new Christmas Gnome stamp from Whiff of Joy which I'd received last week. I made this card for two challenges, a sketch from Create4Fun and a Christmas carol or song title from Allsorts (clever one i think?) So the Christmas song is
Oh Christmas tree, but you can't see that on the text because of the bling cardstock I wrote it onto, D'oh! but that's what it says! I've coloured with copics and the papers are from My minds eye wonderful winter glittered 12x12 pad. Lots of ribbon, buttons and some little bells to finish.

New Whiff of Joy stuff

I received my stamps from Whiff of Joy this morning so have been playing! I have 4 santa's and a christmas gnome. They are just scrummy and I've have 3 cards to show you, these are also for my friend to buy as she is a Santa fan and loves anything traditional. I hope she like them? I've also made a silver wedding anniversary card for another friend to give to her husband just need to put silver wedding on the front as a sentiment and it's finished, but I'll show you a piccy anyway.

Digital images

Now I have just fallen in love with using digital images, just so easy, resize, print as many as you need again and again no fuss or hassle. Also they're great to colour in with copics.
This card is for cupcake craft's challenge this week which is to use digital images this one is from All that scraps. The sketch is from stamp something but I've missed the challenge no time to craft this week really, well not for challenges anyway had orders to fulfill from my card party last week. Anyway the papers are from Polka doodles jingle jangle christmas cd with some mirror board.

More christmas cards!!!!!

k

I didn't get much time to doing any crafting or blogging over the weekend, my husband banned me from the computer yesterday. So I'm making up for it this morning as I don't have to start work til 12 o'clock (got to work til 9pm though which is poo!)
I did however manage to colour in some new digi images from pink petticoat and a few old ones as well to make some small cards which will be ideal for people at work. The little penguins are the new digi images from pink petticoat and are lovely and so simple to make a stunning small card. I've use several different pink petticoat papers as well and some mirror board.
I sold quite a bit of stuff on Friday evening at the card and jewellery party and have picked up orders for more Christmas cards, Silver anniversary card, birthday card and to make a full set of wedding/evening invitations for next year. Not bad really as very few people turned out cos the weather was terrible! We going to do another one in a few weeks time again so the ones that missed it can come along. I also sold a little bit of jewellery but really need to make some more inspiring stuff.

Stamp something - a sketch

Now two birds with one stone so to speak with this one. It's for Stamp something challenge which is a sketch and for my good friends, son's girlfriend's birthday next week! (Did that make sense?) Anyway I used an Anya stamp coloured with copics mounted onto nesties labels eight with K&Co sparkly sweet 12x12 papers which I've had for ages, there double sided and very yummy. I originally was going to use the other side of the stripy paper which is covered in handbags and shoes etc but it just didn't seem to work. Lots of mirror board and bling cardstock which I've put through a cuttlebug embossing folder. The sentiment is from craftwork cards, brads, flowers and ribbons from my stash. Hopefully a 15 year old girl will like this, bit out of touch with teenagers now my daughter's all grown up, and she never liked stuff like this anyway!

The Christmas card production line continues.......

Now I've made good use of my day off by making loads of Christmas cards, I've got a party to do on Friday evening so still have mountains to make. I've used my Pink Petticoat CD's from last year to print out cute donkey images and coloured with copics. The papers are all pink petticoat but from several different CD's, just love the stuff. Now my printer is playing silly sods and keeps failing to print so I've given it a couple hours rest so I can get some more papers off later on. I've used loads of ribbon and mirror board, so all the cards are quite contempary so will have to make some more traditional ones to please all my customers at the weekend. Check out the mess I've made just getting prepared for the weekend, my husband will not be a happy bunny when he sees this lot cluttering up the dining room table (Not that we ever eat at it, only Christmas!)

Also printed off a calendar template from one of my magazine subscriptions so am going to have a go at making one as a gift or maybe to sell not sure yet. Here's the link so watch this space to see what I come up with?
